The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued recently the Foreign Investment Act to attract more foreign investments and meet the present requirements of the Saudi economic reforms. 

Under the Act a statutory body namely; Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) was established to issue licenses and be in-charged of all other matters relating to the investments.
